Cookie Monster has it right. The best thoughts and dreams are often the simplest.  A singular vision keeps us focused and looking ahead.

Me want cookie.

Me want curiosity.

There are a million ways to learn something. It’s our job as artists to organize a structure for what we’re taught, continue to challenge ourselves to learn more, and bravely put what we learn into practice.

Me want cookie.

Me want curiosity.

Me want creativity.

If we are determined to be theatre artists that change the world through simplicity, we must harness our creative energies to start the change from our own little corner— our own singular skill sets, perspectives, and aesthetic. This will cause ripples far beyond what we could imagine in our world, especially when we are people of simple integrity following our values and goals courageously.

Me want cookie.

Me want curiosity.

Me want creativity.

Me want community.

It can feel overwhelming to do plan and execute these ideas alone, armed with only a pad of paper (or your iPhone/iPad), your thoughts, and sometimes (if we’re lucky), a great song or script.  Simple ideas can end up changing the world, but we need people around us to put them into practice. We support each other through classes, coachings, seminars, concerts, shows, and everything in between.

Join me and the friends and family of this community as we pursue simple ideas together, our own little corners having a huge impact on our world and art form, one simple little idea at a time.

And anyway, who doesn’t love cookies?

Me want cookie.
